He is determined to keep everyone safe even if it means sacrificing his life. He also refuses to let her come between him and his brother because family is everything to Romeo. He feels he is no good for her because his life is so dark it would be cruel to include her in it. They have an undeniable desire for the other and their chemistry is palpable. We do find out very early on that Eden loves Romeo and he craves her too.

The Cosa Nostra is made up of five families who feature in these authors previous mafia books so you may well recognise some names and characters as the two join their worlds together. The writing flows so nicely I couldn’t tell which parts were by which author. This is a Romantic Suspense Novel which can be read as a standalone.
